Hardwood Floors

We were able to patch in the hardwood floors to match the rest of the first floor. We found a great deal on the flooring and a perfect match!

Kitchen Design - Take I

We finally have a layout for our kitchen. Were still working out some of the details and trying to figure out our cabinet choices - but this will give you a good idea of how it will look.

This is such a big step and it's so nice to see it on paper!

Bathroom(s) - Yes we have two!

We had the plumber in last week and he put in new plumbing for the entire house. We moved the stack and put in all new PVC pipe. To do this we had to open some walls upstairs (which I was not too happy about!). Since the walls were open upstairs we decided to put new tile down in our upstairs bath too. This will save us from creating additional construction mess in the future. The new half bath is all plumbed in downstairs - we officially have two bathrooms now!

Kentucky Blue!

After weeks of raking rocks, brush and construction debris we started to get the yard ready for grass seed. Chris had 45 yards of loam dumped and we painstakingly raked, rolled and seeded.... raked, rolled and seeded. After only a few days of watering and watching we have baby grass :)

Bathroom Framing

We are adding a half bath on the first floor.
The space is framed out and it is starting to come together.
