Our Game Plan!

Our current kitchen and living space downstairs needs a complete overhaul! Our plan is to tackle the entire first floor all at once, adding a new kitchen, half bathroom and expanded living space. Since Chris and I are tackling the project ourselves... it may be a long road, but we are going to keep looking for the light at the end of the tunnel! This blog will allow us to share our experiences and keep our family and friends up to date with the progress.

A new floor is on it's way...

The foundation is finally in place and the guys worked on pulling out the old porch floor today. 
There were a few hidden surprises and a lot of hard work...

Concrete Part II

We were able to have the walls for the foundation poured this week... now we wait for the concrete to cure. Let's see how long Chris can hold off before building on it!
